In the group of researchers you will be the expert on battery cells, BMSses and possibly other energy storage systems. In the role of Electro-chemical battery expert you will be responsible for developing the knowledge at Lightyear around battery cells. One of which is in building knowledge of and around battery cells.
In parallel, the research team is doing a lot of preliminary investigations for technologies to be used in this vehicle. We will deliver Lightyear cars in high volume around 2024-2025 and are currently working on converting our stakeholder needs into vehicle requirements. You will become part of Lightyear’s electrical engineering domain and will work a lot for the research team focussing on energy efficiency in the broad sense and engineering teams focussing on the design of battery packs.
